You will be picked up between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM and will travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Chefchaouen. Drive to Morocco’s blue part situated in the Rif Mountains, which offers its visitors a charming tour of a city that has preserved the Arab-Andalusian traditions and arts. On route, you’ll pass through the attractive Dam Achahad and Rif Mountains. Stop to enjoy the landscape, cool air, and capture incredible photos.
Arrive in Chefchaouen at 12:00 AM, and stop on top of the mountain to enjoy a panoramic view of Chefchaouen. In Chefchaouen, you’ll have free time to discover the area. Spend 4 hours as you please, you can relax, enjoy the fresh air, marvel at the natural landscape, watch local people go, stroll on close-by green hillsides, visit the main square, or discover Plaza Uta El- Hammam, where the amazing 15th century Grand Mosque sits. This Mosque and its near buildings were structured by a Jewish-refugee who alongside Muslims escaped Spanish persecution and fled to Chefchaouen. In the morning after breakfast, you will drive with your driver/guide north to an extremely different culture and lifestyle from Fes. One of the stunning villages in the feet of Rif mountains Chefchaouen or it’s called the Blue City and the cities name derives from a Berber name ‘’Chef Chaouen’’ which means ‘’look at the horns’’ once we are there you will enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts. Here you will explore the blue-washed town (old medina) by foot along with your local guide who will share stories of Chefchaouen’s history. Start your tour with the Kasbah museum in the medina. the Kasbah of Chefchaouen belongs to the early 18th century and was built by the legendary ruler Moulay Ismail. It is fairly simple without architectural surprises however it is surrounded by gardens on the interior and exterior. Inside the Kasbah, you can visit the ethnographic museum containing antique weapons, musical instruments, and photographs of the old town, After exploring the medina we will drive back to Fes
